This is our first Post for the Category, Life at Briden Farm. Our goal is to create a daily journal, providing daily, or almost daily updates of our activities at Briden Farm.
We want to keep our Main Page as it’s always been with Public Blog Updates. Life at Briden Farm is more geared for those who want to learn more, know more, and follow our activities more closely.
Over the past couple of weeks in May 2022 we did some testing asking our Briden Farm Group Members on FaceBook, to visit a link to Gardening 2022, written using werdsmith.com. In about two weeks we had well over 200 views!
So, we decided to expand our reach and find a Journaling system to do that. Unfortunately, although we wanted it to appear on a Page, or under a Category, here on BridenFarm.com we were unable to make that happen!
As a result, for those of You who want to dive deeper, follow us more closely, and learn along with us, we’re inviting you to do so at http://bridenfarm.livejournal.com
We’re not asking you to abandon this website, we’re still going to post here, as we always have. Just now, You’ll also be able to enjoy a closer journey with us as we share our Life at Briden Farm.
I woke to wagging tails, sunshine, birds singing, and decided to have my morning constitutional on the Lanai!
Ok, so the lanai was the bare ground outside our door and the furniture consisted of a simple plastic chair. It is said that a Lanai has windows and screens and provides a coveted indoor/outdoor feeling. Well You could probably write a Screen Play about it, but the only window was on a beautiful morning, and the Coveted feeling was one that comes in such places after a day of much needed rains.
Perhaps this Video captures it best…
Although, to be honest, video or not it was one of those moments, captured in time, when everything comes together to make an unbelievable experience! Birds singing, the sound of the River at the foot of the hill, mists rising in the trees, and a good cup of homemade specialty coffee, made with Watkins Extracts!
We recently moved our three Berkshire Piglets, Larry, Curly, and Moe, to new pasture and Moe came over to say Thank You! Pigs are funny, endearing, and like to express their love and tenderness and thankfulness by rubbing and wagging their tails! Just watch this Video…
