Touring Briden Farm and Gardens

Briden Farm Gardens

Touring Briden Farm today, on video. It’s focused more on our gardens and the work we’ve been doing over the past few weeks. Shows some of our animals, although I think we may need to do another video soon, focusing more on the animals. Hope you enjoy today’s Video tour, and please note it’s recorded in 3 Parts, each about 10 minutes long. Divided into three parts just to make it easier to load.

While a Picture is worth a Thousand Words, and a video is full of many pictures, No Video can give You the joy of visiting in person! So, please contact us to book your Briden Farm visit. Call Brian at (902) 907-0770

One Glad Morning at Briden Farm

One Glad Morning

I woke to wagging tails, sunshine, birds singing, and decided to have my morning constitutional on the Lanai!

Ok, so the lanai was the bare ground outside our door and the furniture consisted of a simple plastic chair. It is said that a Lanai has windows and screens and provides a coveted indoor/outdoor feeling. Well You could probably write a Screen Play about it, but the only window was on a beautiful morning, and the Coveted feeling was one that comes in such places after a day of much needed rains.

Perhaps this Video captures it best…

Although, to be honest, video or not it was one of those moments, captured in time, when everything comes together to make an unbelievable experience! Birds singing, the sound of the River at the foot of the hill, mists rising in the trees, and a good cup of homemade specialty coffee, made with Watkins Extracts

Berkshire Piglets

We recently moved our three Berkshire Piglets, Larry, Curly, and Moe, to new pasture and Moe came over to say Thank You! Pigs are funny, endearing, and like to express their love and tenderness and thankfulness by rubbing and wagging their tails! Just watch this Video…

Easter Egger Old English Bantam Chicks

Easter Egger Old English Bantam Chicks

How’s that for a mouthful!

Easter Egger Old English Bantam Chicks“

It’s a mouthful for sure!

These beautiful little chicks were hatched, not incubated, and have the instinct to set on eggs. They’re also, small but mighty, even at a week old they’re very alert, always watching and they’ll make great flock protectors! They’ll let you know when something is up! These are both very attractive characteristics. You can even put a few of your other hens eggs under them! Let them help you expand, and protect, You existing flock, or keep them as a flock on their own! The6re just waiting for You to take them home!
