Chicken TV: Buddy the Rooster teaches the Hens how to Lay Eggs!

Buddy The Rooster

Yes, we know! Roosters don’t lay eggs! However, a month or so ago when we were only getting one egg a day, from our Youand Pullets, I jokingly asked our Rooster Buddy to teach the Hens to lay Eggs! Since then he’s been doing a good job of it! He sometimes sits in the nest, he stands guard when the new Hens start to lay, and he even clicks along with them when they accomplish their task! Now if only He’d teach them to lay in the Coop and not the Carport! There’s never a dull day when you have chickens!
