Briden Farm Peanuts

While we weren’t sure they’d grow, or that we’d get any harvest, We have Nuts!

Peanuts that is!

Certainly no big crop, but as they grew and as I studied more about growing them, I do believe we can double our yields next year! So, we may plant more next year.

These ones, all from one plant, I dug by hand after pulling the plant. Actually, they should be dug out and dried with plant attached. This time, this one plant, I just pulled to see what was under it.

We probably have about 20 or so plants and We’ll likely save them for next year’s seed. Not likely We’ll make our fortune, probably just peanuts! 😉

Sometimes I Think We Should Have A Restaurant

Farm Fresh Goodness

With Garden Fresh Veggies, Woodland Pastured Pork, and a Colour Palate like this one, it makes me think we should have a Restaurant! This plate has Woodland Pastured Pork, Oven Roasted Acorn Squash, Garden Fresh Roma Tomatoes, and Rice Pilaf with Green Beans and Carrots. Wonder what people would pay for a Plate like that!?
