Home Fried Potatoes, Wild Field Mushrooms, and Steaks

it’s so nice when we reap the bounty of our hard work. The Potatoes are those we grew in Clementsport before moving here to start Briden Farm. The Wild Field Mushrooms were gathered by a friend and I this summer on his Farm. The Steak was from a Bull that attacked a friend on his farm, where I helped out this summer. Of course the whole thing was made using Watkins Products! Things like Watkins Pepper, Garlic Powder, Sea Salt, and other herbs and spices also from Watkins. We love their products.

Country Breakfast at Briden Farm

Can You imagine waking up to the sound of a Rooster crowing, the snap and crackle of a wood fire and the smell of free range eggs and maple smoked bacon in the frying pan cooked on the kitchen wood stove!? That’s all part of the experience at Briden Farm! Or it will be! We hope that someday, perhaps when the current pandemic has passed, that we’ll be able to host AirBnB Guests here! (We can dream can’t we?)

Meanwhile, we invite our friends to come visit and we’ll do our best to provide you something tasty…

Here at Briden Farm …

Fried Cockerel and Pasta

Nothing’s quite like eating off the farm!

Tonight we had Fried Cockerel and Pasta!

Whether it’s from the Garden, or from the Barn, there’s something special and intrinsic about knowing you’ve raised food for you, your family, and your table!

It also brings a deeper understanding and appreciation for the work you’ve done and the sacrifice that has been made in providing you life sustaining substance! That is even more so when You’ve hand raised them!

life on the farm is not always easy, not always happy, but the good times out weigh the bad, and there truly is a reverent sense of purpose and fulfillment for You, and for the source of the food. Perhaps even for life itself and it’s Creator!
