Old English Game Cocks

These two brothers are pretty much inseparable, and thankfully they are also gentle and have never fought, with each other, nor our other Roosters! Denis shot this video of “The Boys” sitting on the Gate to the Muscovy Duck Pasture.

6 Week Old Kittens

Willow gave birth to six beautiful babies on March 8, 2023. This is a look at them, and their Mom, Willow, when the kittens were six weeks old. Both Willow and their Dad, Oreo are wonderful cats, and great on rodent patrol and control. These little ones can make great pets, wether kept inside, or setup as Barn Cats, they’re sure to please! For more information please contact Brian at Briden Farm, call 902-907-0770

Easy to Build, Inexpensive, Upcycled, Free Range Chicken Tractor

Free Range Pastured Chickens & Rabbits

Our Free Range Chickens are moved daily and get to sample at a nice new Salad Bar daily! Thanks to our easy to build, inexpensive, upcycled, free range chicken tractor.

We do a lot of upcycling and this Chicken Tractor is made of 6 old Mink Cages and can house up to 54 Chickens. Although we usually only do about half that number, allowing them to have more space.

We move the Chicken Tractor daily, and we cover it with wires and tarps, that protects the birds from the elements and they are on pasture for about eight months out of the year. It’s a lot of work, but it really does make for happy chickens! 🐔🐔🐔

Happier chickens lay more eggs!
